Cheryl Gay Pierce

Cheryl shared 42 years of marriage with her husband, Michael Pierce, building a life marked by devotion, steadiness, and the enduring kind of love shown in everyday care. A wonderful mother, she gave of herself faithfully and fully, creating a home where family mattered and where others felt welcomed and valued.

She found joy in simple pleasures and well-earned adventures alike. Cheryl enjoyed shopping, loved cooking, and was especially known for her salmon patties—something everyone looked forward to and remembered. She also loved cruises, taking eight in all, and she rode motorcycles with her husband Michael, embracing the road with calm confidence and a deep appreciation for time spent together.

Cheryl retired from Rechs, where she worked as a bar manager, and she carried the same reliability and warmth into her work that she brought to her family and friends.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, and her granddaughter.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Pierce; her two children, Heidi (Jerry) and Joshua (Nichole); 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, along with very special others in her life that she considers family.

Cheryl accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. Her life was defined by commitment, generosity, and quiet strength—someone who loved deeply and lived with purpose. Her presence will be deeply missed, and her memory will remain a blessing to all who loved her.
