Cheryl O. Wenig

Cheryl O. Wenig, 51, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Monday, January 2, 2006 at home surrounded by her family. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1700 Westport Rd. Kansas City, Missouri, followed by cremation. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2006 at the McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood Blvd. Kansas City, Missouri. Cheryl was born on November 18, 1954 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to William O. and Juanita (Hill) Davis. She graduated from Park Hill High School in 1973. Cheryl worked in the food Industry for 10 years. She owned and operated “Cheri’s Bear Essentials” for 18 years. Through her business she was involved with many organizations; Good Bears of the World International Corp., and MoKan Teddy Bear Club, to name a few. She was a loyal member of her church participating in the Altar Guild, Stephen Ministries, and as a Sunday School Teacher. She is preceded in death by her father in-law, Kermit E. Wenig. Survivors include her parents; husband, David Wenig; daughter, Emma N. Wenig; mother in-law, Charlene Wenig, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; sister in-law, Pat Broadstone and her husband, (Bill); niece, Angie; and nephew, Jon, of St. Charles, Missouri.
