

Christina was born on March 12, 1955, to Benito and Mary Robles. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved grandson, Overland Park Police Officer Freddie Joe Castro.
She is survived by her daughter, Michaela Robles (Mario Marron); her son, Carlos Gallardo Jr.; her grandson, Dominic “DJ Astro” Pacheco (Tiarra); her granddaughter, Marisa Castro; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Ariana, and Ashton Pacheco. She is also survived by her sisters, Loretta Fierro (John) and Monica Robles; her brother, Richard Robles; her longtime companion, Oswaldo Guerra Jr.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Christina devoted more than four decades of service to Southwestern Bell and later AT&T before retiring. She was also a proud member of the Pioneer Club of Southwestern Bell.
Throughout her life, Christina was deeply committed to her faith and was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe/Sacred Heart Parish. She was a proud member of the Guadalupana Society and generously gave her time to support her church community by cleaning the church, making tamales, cooking for fiestas, and volunteering at bingo events.
Christina served as Girl Scout Troop Leader of Troop 1332 through Guadalupe Center, where she positively impacted the lives of many young girls.
She found joy in gardening, crafting, decorating her home for every holiday, and cheering on her beloved Kansas City Chiefs. Everyone who knew her knew not to call during a Chiefs game. She especially loved the color purple, which reflected her warmth, creativity, and vibrant spirit.
Above all, Christina was a devoted mother, grandmother, and beloved Gigi. Her family was the center of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Whether celebrating holidays, attending family gatherings, or simply spending time together, she made each person feel deeply loved and important.
Her kindness, faith, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family will be remembered always and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine Renovation Fund.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine, 901 Avenida Cesar E Chavez, Kansas City, MO 64108, on July 1, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.
Committal will take place at Mount Saint Mary's Cemetery, 2201 Cleveland Ave., Kansas City, MO 64127 immediately following Mass.
