Chris was born in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from Paseo High School before attending the University of Kansas in Lawrence. She worked for the Staley Milling Company in Kansas City and for a number of years was employed by State Farm Insurance at agencies in both Mission and Shawnee, Kansas.
During their 71 years of marriage, Chris and her husband Bob lived in eight different states, mostly in the Midwest before moving to Georgia. They loved their many travels, especially times spent in their motor home. Her other interests included playing bridge, working in her yard and volunteering for activities with developmentally disabled children. Chris was much loved and will be greatly missed by her sons, other family and friends.
Christine was preceded in death by her husband Bob, who passed away on November 19, 2018, her son Mark Curtis Gaul, and her parents Carl Melvin Snow and Leora May McIntire. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Brant and Mary Ellen Gaul of Lenexa, Kansas, grandchildren Brenna and Derek Gaul, son Steve Gaul of Lincoln, Nebraska and daughter-in-law Vikki Gaul of Sarasota, Florida.
