I wrote this song for Fish after he past. He was and will remain the best friend I ever had. We would sing together like birds back in the day! I miss him and think about him still, every day!
Anyway, I hope someone gets some comfort, or at least a good cry reading this song. Fish sure wouldn't want us to be sad! I plan on recording this next.. Miss you Fish!!!

Around the time of our first Christmas together Fish shaved his beard off. Now up till this point I've never seen his bare face.  My mother and him told me his name was Pete and he was gonna live with us and fish wasn't going to be.  I went around the house crying and telling them I hate Pete and I wanted fish back.  I love my dad and I will always miss him thank you everyone that honoured him today.  He was a great dad and role model he taught me so much I can't list it all but the one thing he taught me was unconditional love and support.  

I can tell you that from the first time I met Chris, he always had a way of making me feel so accepted.  He would always tell me each time I saw him,  "damn girl, I cannot believe that my brother managed to married a super  model!" , even when I looked my worst.   I suspect he made everyone feel this way (well unless you crossed a family member) as is evidenced by the outpouring of love and support.  We will miss you brother Fish!

Growing up my siblings and I were crazy about our Uncle Fish! He made life an adventure. There was never a dull moment with him. Whether we were cleaning the house, going to the thrift store, or going to pick one of us up late at night when we were in trouble. He always had a good time. He always had our back, no matter the circumstances, family was everything to him and he would always fight to protect the ones he loved. Our Uncle Fish taught us to not take life so seriously, to laugh, to smile and to have fun. He taught my siblings and I to number 1 always love and respect our mama. And to truly and genuinely enjoy life, to sing, dance laugh and smile. We loved you so much, Uncle Fish! We know you are with Jesus now singing and dancing in heaven.  

Hi my name is Amanda and fish came in to my life when I was 6 years old I am 29 now. He was my best friend he loved me when I didn't love myself. He was a good grandpa figure to my daughter Journee who he helped with the nameing of her. He might have been my step dad but he was much more than that. Step dad doesn't even define him. He was the real deal in my brother and my eyes. He have saved our life's growing up. And even in out adult lifes. We have saved him a few to. I will sure miss him. And his laugh. But it's not a good bye it's a till next time. Because he was a talker he will come visit us in our dreams he will be a good guardian angel for my daughter and for my nephew. I want to say thanks to his mom and dad for blessing my brother and I with such a good dad he was sure the best  ever when he didn't have to be.

Chris was invited to help out with Long's Karate Summer Camp with 20 kids eating at Mongolian Bar-B-Q Restaurant.
That was a blast and even the restuarant manager came over and was so intrigued with the manners of the kids and he talked with Chris for 20 mins.
As the owner and head of the camp I was amazed when the manager paid our bill of over $289.00.
He said, "he never seen such a great well mannered Day Care!"
Chris yelled, " WE ARE NOT DAY CARE WE ARE KARATE CAMP!"
Everyone knew who we were...lol...ha!  
Chris bragged on the kids and the manager paid our bill. 
Chris helped several times with the camp and always had a blast and you would have thought it was Christmas for Chris or he had won the lottery!
Chris was so natural with all the kids and every kid gravitated towards Chris's charm and enthusiasim.
With each adventure that Chris was invited to the kids hung on every word and he made camp fun for all of us and us adu instructors.
An exuberance for life and no matter the age Chris could relate and would make each kid feel special.
One time in particular we got back from a Chineses all you could eat buffet and we came back to his sister's Melissa's house when she was at work.
He (All of us) took a picture of 20 kids laying around the porch, on the rail, and on the floor all napping.
Of course the whole thing was staged and the picture we sent to Melissa and her response was priceless!
Ohhhhh....Chris she said with a laugh!
Chris had a nack with kids and myself being in the Kid business with running a Martial Arts School for 39 years I know when I see a person who can relate and get a long with kids!
Maybe because he was still a kid and that was the best thing about Chris his love for kids and people.
I wish more people could be like Chris and his actions.
May we learn from this story and may we all have an exuberance for life, treat kids well and have fun like each day is a gift.
May you rest in peace Chris and may God comfort your Family.
