Christopher Paul Weaver

Chris Weaver of Leawood, Kansas, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013. He was born July 10, 1965 in Waterloo, Iowa. He had a passion for sports and was an avid athlete and loved talking sports trivia with his sons. Chris graduated from Valley High School, West Des Moines, Iowa, and from UMKC and with a BS of science and accounting degree. He was a member of Beta Alpha Psi and Beta Theta Pi. Chris is survived by his sons, Luke and Grant Weaver of Blue Springs; mother, Joann Weaver, Leawood; brother, Michael (Courtney) Weaver, Edgerton; grandmother, Betty Rund and grandfather, Ernest Weaver both of Traer, Iowa, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Weaver; grandmother, Kathryn Weaver; grandfather, Paul Rund and cousin, Robbie Casey. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, July 6th,10:00 a.m., at Church of the Nativity, 3800 West 119th, Leawood, KS. Interment, D.W. Newcomers Sons, Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
