Clara Marie Robinson, 91, formerly of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on December 25, 2010 in Emporia, Kansas. Visitation will be from Noon – 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Mt. Moriah and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri with funeral services following at 1:00 p.m. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery South. Clara was born on October 16, 1919 in Capleville, Tennessee the daughter of Russell and Lucille (Richmond) Wallace. Clara moved to Kansas City, Missouri in 1946. She married Charlie Robinson and spent her time being a homemaker and raising the family. In 1987, her beloved husband passed and she moved to Olathe, Kansas in 1989. As her health failed she made the decision to move to Emporia, Kansas in 2003. Clara was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Edward Thomas; two brothers and five sisters. Mrs. Robinson is survived by her daughter, Charlene Sorrell of Olathe, Kansas, grandchildren, Anthony (Jennifer) Robinson, Trina Williams and Edward Thomas, Jr., four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
