He was born April 16, 1932, in Wichita, Kansas, to Clarence C. Parsons and Helen Welsh Parsons.
Clarence is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Leist Parsons, his brother, H. Allen Parsons of Denver, Co., six nieces and nephews: Marc Parsons, Paul Parsons, Sylvie Parsons, Kimberly Parsons Yetterm, Stephen D. Parsons, and Pam Parsons Miller. His brother Spencer W. Parsons of Houston, TX, preceded Clarence in death.
Mr. Parsons attended Border Star Elementary, and Southwest High School, in Kansas City, MO, and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Following a tour of duty in the U. S. Army, Clarence joined Merrill Lynch in New York, remaining there for three years. He returned to Kansas City as an Account Executive until he retired from Merrill Lynch just prior to his Fiftieth Anniversary.
He was a long time member of Mission Hills Country Club. Clarence and Sue owned a summer home in Taos, NM, where he pursued his passion for golf and the couple enjoyed fly fishing and the summer climate.
