Clarence William Yeo

Clarence William Yeo, 83 of Raytown Missouri, passed away on Tuesday March 12th, 2019.

Services will be held at Colonial Presbyterian Church, 9500 Wornall Road, Kansas City, Missouri on Saturday, March 16th with a Visitation at 1:30pm followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Encompass Health, Home & Hospice, 219 SW Noel Drive, Lees Summit, Missouri 64063 or the Colonial Crisis Fund, 9500 Wornall Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64114.

Clarence was born October 30, 1935 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was married to Mary Lee (Landon) Yeo for 61 years. Clarence worked for Hallmark Cards, Inc. for 42 years as a Research & Development Technician, retiring in 1996.

Clarence’s passion in life was his family and helping others. He had many hobbies, such as woodworking, archery, working in his yard and home repair projects. He especially enjoyed watching his many grandchildren play sports.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Diann Birkes and his sister, Donna Marie Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Yeo, sister, Blanche Ann (Don) Mitchell, brother, George Robert Yeo, a daughter, Cathy Luann (Kelly) Whitehouse, a son, Steven Edward (Sidra) Yeo, and a son-in-law, David Birkes, eight grandchildren, Jennifer Garrett, Brianne Thill, Joshua Birkes, Kyle Yeo, Travis (Kenzie) Yeo, Shelby Yeo, Jordan Birkes and Angel Garrett, and two great grandchildren, Molly Thill and Macie Thill.

Many fond memories of Clarence and Donna when I was a young child. I met them through Marie Wagner and daddy Bill who we considered our family and protectors. The Yeo family became our family as well. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss.
