Claudetta M. Queen, 71, passed away April 30, 2015 at her home in Kansas. Claudetta was born September 9, 1943 the daughter of Claude and Evalena (Loukx) Higginbotham. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Billie Ann Garrett and a daughter, Tina May Davis. Claudetta is survived by her three sons, Scott Edward Queen of Independence, MO, Terry Ray Queen of Fort Scott, KS and Brian Shane Queen of Willow Springs, MO; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one brother, Richard Higginbotham and wife Delores of Independence, MO; five sisters, Karen Rainey of Independence, MO., Paula Born of Stockton, MO., Marlene Hicks of Independence, MO., Ellen Boniedot and husband Glenn of FairPlay, Mo., and Amy Hoskins and Husband Mark of Humansville, MO and Numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be from 1 pm until service time at 2 pm, Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Burial will follow. Condolences may be left at www.floralhillsfuneralhome.com.
