Clementina Garcia

Clementina Pacheco Garcia, 94 of Kansas City, MO died Sunday, September 17, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine, 901 Avenida Cesar Chavez, Kansas City, MO. Burial will be in Forest Hill\Calvary Cemetery, 6901 Troost. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday at McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood Blvd., Kansas City, MO; where the rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm.

Clementina was born November 20, 1922 in Kansas City, KS to Fernando and Marta (Perez) Pacheco. She married Vincent Garcia and the time of his death, they had been married 62 years. She worked for Penney’s stores during her working years around the Metro Kansas City area. In addition to her husband Vincent, Clementina was preceded in death by a son, Salvador, her brother, Tom Pacheco and three sisters, Luz Sauceda, Conception “Concha” Santillian and Mary Medina. Her survivors include her children, Elizabeth Konicki, Houston, TX, Vincent Garcia (Rita) Lenexa, KS, Carlos Garcia (Denise), Kansas City, KS, Patricia Garcia, Kansas City, MO and Robert Garcia (Jill) Burke, VA; 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. A very heartfelt thank you to John M. Edgar for his understanding and thoughtfulness that allowed Pat to take care of her mother over the last year.
