Clifford "Denny" Dennis Jurgeson

Denny was born on October 20, 1940 in Kansas City, Missouri to Clifford C. and Marguratta (Peggy) E Jurgeson (Pennington).

He was married to Judy for 28 years until 1993 and together they had 3 children. He was a member of the Connection Point Church in Raytown Missouri. He was a millwright in the carpenters union starting in 1964 and he retired in 1999. Denny loved building and restoring hot rods, especially Corvettes & Chevelles. He loved building his own homes and could create and bring anything to life. He gave his family an amazing lifetime experience. He was a role model to many. He was one of the best men many of us have ever known. He taught people trades to last a lifetime.

Denny always made sure his family had everything they needed and more. He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who asked and never expected anything in return.

Denny was preceded in death by his Father Clifford, Mother Peggy, sister Sue Hawks and son David Jurgeson.

He leaves behind his son, Christopher D Jurgeson and daughter, Laura Kathleen Hoelscher (Jeff), grandchildren, Shelby Burns (Gavin Armstrong), Cody Hendrix, Jaimee Hendrix and Jessi Hendrix. Great grandchildren Rayleigh and Riann Armstrong. He leaves behind sisters Sharon Slater (Darell), Lynn Ryle (Jack) and Pam Hedrick (Don) and brothers Mike Jurgeson (Jan) and Les Jurgeson. He also left behind a very large extended family, including many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews and their significant others as well as many friends that he loved dearly.

Memorials can be made to the family or Kansas City Hospice House.

A visitation for Clifford will be held Friday, March 8, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. A funeral service will occur Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. A reception to follow at conclusion of services on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131.
