Frank was a life-long resident of K.C. except for the time spent in the U.S. Air Force. He was a graduate of Westport H.S. and received his diploma in 1953. He graduated from Kansas City University in 1958, (UMKC). Frank served 4 years in the USAF, serving in Japan, the Philippines, and French Indo China, (Vietnam). He started his career in the Insurance business with Farmers Mutual in 1958. Went with Farmers Insurance Group in 1967 until retirement in 12/31/2010.
He is survived by his beloved wife Deborah A. McCalmon, the mother of his children Bonita L. Buckley his 3 children, Jeffrey McCalmon, (Kim), Robin Chamberlain, (Ron), Roger McCalmon (Jill) 2 step-children Cecil V. Moore III, (Amy), and Thomas P. Moore. 11 grandchildren Aubrey, (Scott), Tyler (Sarah), Reed (Margy), Spencer (Lindsey), Jordan, Logan, Ian, Graham, Quinn, Reece, and Walker. Great-grandkids Claire, Calib, Harper, Eloise, Violet, Liam, Jack, Ryder and Ivy. Sisters-in-law Phyllis McCalmon and Marjorie McCalmon.
There will be a celebration of Frank’s life at a later date because of COVID19.
