Clifford J. Wright, 93, of Greenwood, Missouri left his earthly home on June 4, 2015, to be greeted by his Savior, wife, daughter, and many friends and family. Graveside services with be held at Chapel of Hope Mausoleum at Mount Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Rd. at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 8.
Cliff was born on November 5, 1921. He grew up in Wyandotte, Oklahoma. During this time, he met his childhood sweetheart, Olive Mobley. Cliff and Olive were married shortly after high school and were married for 71 years. Cliff entered the army after high school and went to fight in WWII in the Germany region. He was directly involved in Battle of the Bulge. He received recognition regarding his courage and determination. After the war, Cliff and Olive lived most of their life in the Kansas City, Missouri area. Clifford was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Cliff was passionate about sports, fishing, gardening, and tinkering around the house. He was a well-loved man and will be dearly missed.
Cliff is survived by his two granddaughters, four grandsons, and two sisters-in-law.
