She was born on July 29, 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri. She stayed in the Kansas City area most of her life marrying Floyd Hildebrandt and spending many long and loving years together. She was a working woman and held a career at the Metropolitan Life Company for 47 years.
She is survived by her nephew, Charles S. McLeran and his wife, Raelee McLeran of Stuart, FL; and her nieces, Stacey M. Kendig of Hagerstown, MD and Shannon M. Sides and her husband Michael Sides of Palm City, FL.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles E. Cies; her mother, Minnie G Cies; and her husband, Floyd Hildebrant.
A graveside service for Cornelia will be held Friday, July 12, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Mount Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131.
