
Craig Hilburn Stewart, 71, passed suddenly and unexpectedly on June 3, 2025. He was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and was a generous and caring father, brother, son, and friend. He was predeceased by his parents, Troy and Beth Stewart. He was especially helpful and provided wise brotherly advice during and after our mother's extended illness. He is survived by his son, Allan Stewart, and grandchildren, Colton Stewart, Addison Stewart, and Jordan Stewart, his sister, Lynn Stewart Mauze’, and niece, Elizabeth Mauze’.
Craig was a skilled over the road truck driver who developed close-knit friendships with many drivers and staff at Butler Transportation. He proudly retired from a long career there in 2020. It was his goal to deliver products safely and he always believed the trucking industry was pivotal to our economy.
Craig had a unique sense of humor that sparked many lively conversations with others. He was generous to those he cared about and wanted to help any way he could. He knew people, near and far, who enjoyed his company and knack for jest.
Craig's life will be celebrated privately by family and friends. He will be remembered and loved for the treasured relationship he had with his son, the sensible insight he gave his sister, and the authentic fellowship he shared with his friends.
