Craig Woltemath

Craig was born on January 4, 1962 to the late Gloria Savage Woltemath and the late Arlan Dale Woltemath. Craig lived most of his life in Leawood, KS until moving to his “dream home” on Beaver Lake a year and a half ago. Craig graduated from Shawnee Mission South H. S. in 1980. He attended Wichita State where he was a pitcher on the baseball team and a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He graduated in 1985 earning a degree in marketing. Following graduation, Craig joined his father in the family business and was the President of W.W. Agri Sales, Inc. He enjoyed working with such great and loyal customers and suppliers.

Craig loved the outdoors—fishing, boating, hunting, biking and photography. He loved coaching his children’s various sports teams throughout the years. He was very handy and could fix anything around the house or on a computer.

Craig is survived by his wife of 24 years, Stephanie Osborne Woltemath; his son, Tyler Craig Woltemath; daughter, Tracy Lynn Woltemath (both attending the Univ. of AR) and sister, Carla (Greg) Courtwright of Dallas, TX. He also leaves many other family and friends that were so important to him.

Services will be Saturday, January 4th (Craig’s birthday), at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
