Betty, 

my name is mike segura and i was a boy scout in troop 421. while i was growing in the Scout troop Mr. ulschak helped me so much with all of his wisdom and i can at 35yrs old still remember the look on his face and how proud he was when i received my Eagle Scout because with me i had a disability that never stopped me from learning and going forward i have Tourette syndrome and a learning disability as well. and it never stopped me from doing any thing in life and the look on his face when he got to hand me my Eagle Scout Award i will never forget that and i was 13 yrs old then i got it in 1995. I really wish i would have known about his passing Before now or i would have been there at the service. i have missed him as i hope he can still see all that i have done in my life time and how much i have acomplished in my life. i do know with now my son in scouts i really just hope i can be at least half the leader he was to me. 

i just wanted you to know that he meant a lot to me and i know he always will be with all of us and i wanted to tell you thank you for letting him be in my life because he was a huge part of my life growing up and i will always remember that about him and i know that all the scouts and people he help though his life was very special to him so wance again THANK YOU betty for leting him help me and teach me

Betty and Lisa, I am at a loss for words hearing of Curt's passing! Bob called me last week after he had stopped in at Little Sisters and they told him Curt had passed away. Having you and Curt as neighbors all  my brothers and I  growing up living next door was such a blessing. Curt always like to take my picture when I was a little girl. Such a sweet loving hard working man who was always ready to help a neighbor out. Had we known we would have come to his service. 
You and your entire family are in our prayers.

Just looked at emails and Jimmy sent me the notice.  Jim and I would have been at the funeral, you are in our thoughts and prayers and I will have some masses for Curtis at St. Regis. God bless you and Lisa. What a great guy so good to my Jamie Jo. He would say Go Chiefs.

I was very sorry to hear of Uncle Curt's passing.  He was a good man and great role model for us growing up.  I'm sure he will be missed by many.

Please accept the Cook Family's condolences on the loss of Curtis.  Dad, Jimmy and I truly enjoyed the times we spent with Curtis at Troop 421.  I will never forget his enthusiasm and passion for scouting.  Because of Curtis, many now grown men have fond memories of sitting around huge campfires and crossing monkey bridges.

Betty, so sorry to hear of your loss.  
I remember the good times we had when we were swimming together, and the struggles you were going through then.
