She spent her school years attending junior high at Baptiste Jr High and graduated in 1969 from Ruskin High School. She attended college at UMKC and graduated with a BS in Psychology in 1973. She worked her whole career in sales of office equipment mostly working with school districts.
Cindy was blessed with her beloved daughter, Lindsay, in June of 1988 and was a loving and devoted mother. Sadly, Lindsay passed away on August 3, 2019. She thought the world of Lindsay’s wife, Sarah Neary, and treated her as a daughter.
When her nephew and niece, Kevin and Sara were born she was over the moon being an aunt. She often had them over to spend the night and to be spoiled! Even though they were separated by miles she loved and bragged about Kevin and Allisen’s boys, her great nephews, Broadie, Barrett, and Foster.
Cindy had a large group of friends and many loving cousins that she enjoyed spending time with them.
She had a special place in her heart for her Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Kirby who never failed to be there for her if she called.
She told me on many occasions how lucky she was to have Dave as a brother-in-law who she knew was always ready to provide support.
Cindy loved her cats, the Chiefs (especially Travis Kelce), KU basketball, and reading.
Cindy was preceded in death by her daughter, Lindsay, brothers Craig and Curtis, and her parents.
I thought we would grow old together, but I will carry on. There will be one more empty chair at the table. I love you my sister, my friend.
