Cynthia (Cindy) Jefferson passed away peacefully in the loving care of Kansas City Hospice House on February 27, 2018. An avid reader, lover of music and time spent with family and friends around the dinner table and poolside any chance she had. She worked as an insurance underwriter for many years and retired in 2016. She was a former member of Eastern Star in Grandview and of Lutheran faith.
Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Helen Oldham, two brothers; “little” Steve and Mark Oldham and a son, Bret Jefferson. Survivors include her husband, Howard Jefferson of the home; son, Steve Jefferson of Grandview, MO; daughter Deanna Jefferson of Platte City, MO; two brothers, Dan Oldham of Smithville, MO and Mike Oldham of League City, TX.
Cindy’s life was enriched with three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.
Visitation is scheduled for March 10, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home at 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. There will be no graveside services.
