Stella,Mattew,Justin,Nancy,Jim, Delores,Brian and families.What can anyone say to ease the pain of your loss? I am so very sorry...  
No one that ever met Dale could dispute the loving caring Husband, Father, Son and ,Brother or Friend he was. 
 How he loved His Sons. And His Stella!! He fought sooo long and sooo hard, with dignity and courage. There is one more Angel in Heaven.  We have all been blessed in having met him here on Earth.
 
Stella; You loved and were loved to the fullest by this beautiful soul who will always be with you in your heart. You showed devotion, courage, and strenght  It is  priviledge to have met a woman of your caliber. And the Man that showed us what "love stories" are all about.

Dale was a huge part of my life growing up in Charleston.  I will always treasure the memories of those days - my first adult "road trip" was with Dale as we headed out to Kansas when his family moved back there. What an incredible time we had.  I still tell stories about our experiences on that trip. Although we all tended to drift apart after college Dale was a huge part of what made "our group" so special.   I am so glad our paths crossed. My thoughts and prayers are with Dale and his family during this time.

May the God of all comfort be with you all today. We are so sorry for your loss.  Cindy and I are praying for you. We have great memories of times with Dale in Parsons.

I never had the pleasure of knowing Dale, but reading your posts on FB have been an inspiration my friend.  They've been an inspiration because they recount unconditional love on both your parts, courage and determination, a zest for life and so much more.  I particularly admire you for how hard you worked to provide Dale with the best quality of life possible at the most difficult times of his struggle with MS.

May the peace that only the Lord can provide be yours at this heart breaking time.

Stella, Mr and Mrs Garver, Delores, Brian, Justin and Matthew,

I am so sad to hear of Dale's passing.  I have so many great memories ever since the Garver's moved in across the street from us in Charleston, to WVU and into adult-hood.

One of my first memories is of Dale bringing over Angel as a puppy.  Dale loved that dog.  Angel visited me in Morgantown and almost got me kicked out of my apartment the weekend she stayed over when Dale went out of town.

All our high school days: going to Pizza Hut after the football games, the gang, poker games, picnics and of course the motorcycle and dune buggy.

Can't forget the time spent at WVU.  Dale taught me how to snow ski in West Virginia.

I got to see Dale's newborn son when I was driving cross country to go skiing in Colorado. He was the first of our friends to have a baby.  
 
It was wonderful to meet Stella at our high school reunion and see how much she loved Dale.  I am thankful that he had someone so special as you to be with him.

Dale was so full of life and makes me appreciate the time that we have and being good friends.

My prayers go out to his family.  He will be missed.

Stella I know Bob and Dale are together in Heaven.  They will both be looking over you and your family. We are both blessed to have such wonderful, caring men in our lives.

It is hard not to remember Dale as any thing else besides full of life and looking forward to the next adventure. Through the years I knew Dale in West Virginia, I remember parties at his parent's house, riding on the back of his motorcycle or in the dune buggy. Dale drove that dune buggy in good weather with the top down, in snow with no heat and in the rain, sometimes with water pouring in and the wind shield wipers not working. 

I remember riding in the front seat of Dale's first real car and Angel siting in the back. Angel's head resting on the back of the front seat while she slobbered all over those sitting in front of her. Sweet Angel probably weighted more than Dale did soaking wet.

Dale came to our last high school reunion with his spirit unbroken. I don't know of anyone else that had his zest for life. Stella you are an inspiration to all of us that got to know you better at that reunion. You showed us the meaning of love with your devotion to Dale and your energy to make sure that Dale could live his life to the fullest.

I hope Dale is somewhere now planning the next adventure with his body whole and his spirit still unbroken.

I was truly saddened to learn of Dale's passing. I have such fond memories of Dale in high school and at WVU. He was part of our "gang". I am so happy that I was able to spend time with you both at our last reunion. I have always heard such wonderful things about you and your wonderful love and care for Dale. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Knowing Dale as a friend has been a blessing to me. We shared pain and happyness during the trials of life. Knowing he is in a better place is a blessing. Stella has been a comfort, caregiver, friend and wife to a very good friend. He will be missed by all he knew. God Bless The Garver Family.

Even though I only seen him a couple of times I remember that he was a very nice person. I am also so happy that he is out of pain and in the kingdom of heaven where he will not bear any pain for the rest of  eternity.  May God bless the Dale and Stella family as they have to deal with this difficult situation.

Stella, many memories of Dale remind me of all the fun we had in high school and in college. He was a great guy and good to you. Mike and I wish him peace and pray that you and his family will feel God's comforting touch.

I never met you Dale, but I feel like i know you. I can tell you that my husband (Bill) always came home with stories of you and Glen when you guys used to play poker. I bet you all had a hoot! I know they will cherise those memories of you.

It was with great sadness that I heard of Dale's crossing over.  I know that he and I had not been close for many years but I have missed his wit and his charm.  He will always be remembered as a kind, loving, caring and devoted father, son, brother and husband.  He was a wonderful, loving and supportive brother in law to me and a great uncle to Riki and AJ and we have all been truly blessed to have known him and to have him in our lives.  He will be deeply missed but he is at peace now and watching over each of you, guiding and assisting you.  His love has touched so many, he will be greatly missed.
