Dale Clinton Hendrix

Dale C. Hendrix 83, Kansas City, MO, died October 4, 2021. Dale was born in Independence, MO and spent a good majority of his life in the Kansas City area. However, during his career, he spent time living in Chicago IL, Jackson MS, and Metairie LA. Dale was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served his time at Whiteman Air Force base in Knob Knoster, MO. He served active duty from 1956-1960. After serving his country, for which he was very proud, he began a career in the Insurance Industry. He was involved in many aspects of the industry with a focus on underwriting. He worked for several agencies such as, Fireman’s Fund and Zurich American. Dale enjoyed sports especially, bowling, softball, and golf, all of which he continued participating in well into his senior years. Dale was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn, his parents, Harvey Orin and Dolly E. Hendrix, his brothers Bill Hendrix and James Hendrix, sisters Carol Jane Hendrix and Bobbie Jean Ragan. Survivors include brother Danny Hendrix and wife Susie, sons Randall Hendrix Sr.; Keith Hendrix and wife Lenez; grandchildren Sean Hendrix and wife Julie; Christopher Hendrix; Randall Hendrix Jr. and wife Laura; Clint Hendrix and wife Jessica; great grandchildren Shelby, Zoey, Max, Koltyn, Robert, Alex, Beaux, and Kastyn; Brother-in-law Bill Ragan; also, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 16 at 9:00 a.m. with grave side service beginning 10:00 a.m. at Newcomers Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City MO.

Thinking of all of you! All our trips to Missouri and he was always happy to see us! I would call him once in a while and I would say "Hi Uncle Dale, it's your niece" and he would say " I don't have any nieces". Thought he was funny! I will miss you! Love goes out to all his family!
