Darlene Faye York, 80, found eternal rest on September 29, 2026. She was born on September 27, 1946 in Winston, Missouri to Joe and Elsie Parton.

Darlene is survived by her son, Hans S. Beebe, and daughter-in-law, Michelle; daughter, Theresa J. Schreckler; step-sons, Steven L. York and daughter-in-law, Lisa, and Alan York (Paula); grandchildren, Samantha J. Bradford, Karson A. Maple (Matthew), Daphne M. Holman (Ryan), and Dillon Schreckler (Carissa); step-grandchildren, David York (Julia), John York, and Kaitlyn York; as well as five great-grandchildren & two step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 40 years, Nile Wayne York; her parents, Joe and Elsie Parton; sisters, Frances Parton and Joyce Price (Roy); and brothers, Spencer Parton (Marilyn) and Ivan Parton.

Though she is no longer with us, her warmth stays behind in the lives she touched. A celebration of Darlene’s life will be announced at a later date and posted here.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at Gladstone Community Center, 6901 N. Holmes St., Gladstone, MO 64118.
