A visitation will take place Thursday, July 23 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at Floral Hills Funeral Home (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64133). Followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, and catering at 3:30 PM.
Friends and family are welcome to help celebrate Darlyne’s life.
Darlyne was born December 10, 1932 in Oklahoma City. Her family later moved to the Kansas City area where she married and raised 5 boys before relocating to the Puget Sound region of the Northwestern United States. Despite living her life out in the Northwest, she always considered Kansas City home.
Her, late in life, collegiate studies led her to the Occupational Therapy profession, but by far her biggest and proudest accomplishment was raising five boys.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Elizabeth Juengling and her sister Irene Howard and daughter-in-law Deniece Camper.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and is survived by her five sons, ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
We will all miss her unconditional love, her ever present smile, and her sweet disposition.
