My Uncle David was the greatest and he and Aunt Katie will be sorely missed. We were close up to the end even though I was far away. Will never forget when my wife and I moved back to KC to start medical school and we were low on money and Uncle David and Aunt Katie brought us a wedding gift. It was as if manna had dropped from heaven! I am so blessed to have him in my life and even named a son "David Allen" Koerper!

I grew up in the State Farm family, and I have so many fond memories of Dave and Katie. They were my partners in crime in Austria and in Acapulco. I am very blessed to have called them my friends. My blessings and prayers to all of his family, far and wide. He will be truly missed.
