David V. Galvan, 72 of Gladstone, Missouri, passed away on September 7, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Galvan, his mother, Elvira Gonzales, and his aunt, Rita Vargas. He leaves behind his sister, Gloria Graham and her sons, PJ Graham, Nicholas Graham, her daughters, Faith Wolfe and Kimberly Graham; his two sons, Christopher "Jeremy" Galvan and David "Tony" (Alisha) Galvan; sister-in-law, Frances (Frank) Florez and her son, Gabriel (Tina) Florez ; granddaughter, Clara "CC" Galvan; and many loving nieces and nephews.
David graduated from Northeast High School. He was very active in the community volunteering as a basketball and volleyball coach. David was also active with the Boy Scouts and was a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He was a devoted father and grandfather to his sons and grandchildren. David always made sure to take time helping others, putting his family's and friends' needs before his.
David worked at Thoroughbred Ford, establishing great client relationships there for 13 years and was a great impact on the dealership earning many awards during his tenure -- just like his accomplishments with sports which earned him the nickname "COACH."
He was taken too soon from us, but is now at peace with his wife, Mary, in Heaven so that they can watch over their family.
Visitation will be 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m., on Wednesday, September 20th, at St. Charles Borromeo Parish, 900 NE Shady Lane, Gladstone, MO 64118.
