

David Leonard Lungstrum of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away at Cedarhurst Assisted Living on June 13, 2022, at the age of 85. He was born on July 3, 1936 to Eugene G. Lungstrum and Monta R. Broadstan. He married Marilyn Mistler Lungstrum on November 15, 1968, in Marshall, Missouri.
David worked as a Brick Mason for 25 years building numerous buildings in the Kansas City area, including the Royals and Chiefs Stadium, for Local #4. He later left to start his own business of masonry. He loved to bowl, coach his sons in sports, to be outdoors hunting and fishing, and was a proud member of B.A.S.S. Some of his other hobbies were spending time gambling with his wife and having cocktails with friends. But most of All he loved being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Mistler Lungstrum, parents Eugene G. Lungstrum and Monta R. Broadstan; son Larry J. Lungstrum; brother Montie (Tiny) Lungstrum.
David is survived by his two sons, David Eugene Lungstrum and wife, Sherrie of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Brad Eric Lungstrum, and wife Brooke of Blue Springs, Missouri; grandchildren, Anthony, Andrea, Holley, Dallas, Austin and Lilley; 4 great grandchildren, Alton, Lincoln, Ariana and Rylei; brother and sister n laws, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
