David Lee Rimmer, 54, of Independence, MO passed away on July 28, 2013. Scripture service 10:30am Saturday, August, 3rd with visitation beginning at 9am held at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 3736 Lee’s Summit Rd., Indep. Interment to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. David was born on Dec. 4, 1958 in Anaheim, CA. After graduating from Truman in 1977 David attended Graceland College for two years. He moved to Vancouver, WA where he was a Social Worker. David moved back to KC in 1992 and was employed by Sprint and Certainteed. Most recently he was a Computer Analyst for Surewest. He enjoyed spending time working on the “fixer upper” at Lake Lafayette. David is survived by his mother, Barbara Carter; his wife, Deborah Alexander of the home; children, Michael Rimmer of Washington State, Michael, Jason, Nathan, John & Katie Alexander all of the home; sisters, Carol Langdon & Katherine Bolander.
