Dean E. Sproull

Dean E. Sproull, 65, lost his battle with cancer Saturday, January 17, 2015. He was born in Long Beach, California and spent most of his adult life living in the Kansas City area with his wife Gina. Dean served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran, lead machinist at Gill Studios and a car enthusiast. Dean had a wonderful outgoing personality. He was a great mechanic and fabricator, spending his free time building and driving his 427 AC Cobra. Dean shared his passions with his grandchildren, teaching them to play the guitar, build models and discussing history. He will be greatly missed by his large extended family and many friends. Dean is survived by his wife Gina Sproull, his daughters Julie Mosburg, Michelle Dillon, Christine Gilbert, son-in-law Tim Mosburg, and his five grandchildren; his sister Janet Lane, brother Bill Sproull, sister-in-law Jennifer Sproull and their children. Funeral service will be at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 2 pm. Burial will follow. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center, 2316 E.
