Deb was born July 11, 1952 in Kansas City, MO and was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, sister, and aunt.
She graduated from Raytown South High School and received her associate’s degree from Longview Community College in 2005. Deb retired from Hickman Mills school district. She was a proud United States Air Force veteran, retiring as a Master Sergeant after serving both active duty and in the reserve. She volunteered as a Girl Scout troop leader, volleyball coach, for meals on wheels and organized reunions for her 77th APS Air Force Reserve Unit. She continued her service as a volunteer and founding member for the Heartland Honor Flight touching the lives of many other veterans.
Deb was passionate about traveling and loved camping. She visited numerous national parks, several different countries while in the reserves and all 50 states with her husband, Bob. She loved to stay active by gardening and cooking, hosting many family gatherings. She was generous with her time, always ready to help friends and family. Deb was an avid Royals fan, making many trips to Arizona for spring training and visiting minor league stadiums.
The greatest joy in her later years was her two granddaughters, Lily (age 4) and Ellie (age 3) Bratcher. They lovingly named her Gammie. She was a very active part of their lives and spoiled them every chance she got.
Deb was preceded in death by her parents Maureen (Cassidy) and Floyd Williamson.
