Deketrick “Lil Ketchie” McGregor, Jr., 15, Grandview, MO, passed away January 3, 2014. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 17, at St. James United Methodist Church, 5540 Wayne.
Deketrick was born January 7, 1998 in Kansas City, MO, son of Deketrick, Sr. and LeAnne (Walls) McGregor. He attended Grandview Senior High School. He was very active in the Jazz, Marching and School Bands, football and baseball. Deketrick was very involved with his church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Irma J. McGregor, Jerome B. and Elsie B. Holloway, and aunt Natalie McGregor. Deketrick, Jr. is survived by his parents; paternal grandfather Ivory McGregor, Sr. of Grandview, MO; sisters Kellissa Gray of Kansas City, MO and Courtney McGregor of Grandview, MO; a host of aunts, uncles extended family members and many friends.
