Delmar O Brumley Jr.

Delmar was born April 22, 1933, in Kansas City, Missouri. He served with the Air Force from February, 1953 to February, 1957. He worked for Proctor and Gamble for 33 years. After retiring, he worked for Laidlaw, training drivers for 10 years. Delmar coached softball and basketball with BVJAA for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and volunteered with the Johnson County Sheriff Patrol. Delmar married Alberta Stewart on August 30, 1963. Above all else, he loved spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Delmar is survived by his wife of 48 years, Alberta, their children, grandchildren and many other loved ones. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the many caregivers of the Brumley family. In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial contributions be made to Lifecare Planning Inc, Brumley Fund, 4400 Madison, Kansas City, MO 64111 or to Helping Hands, Brumley Foundation, PO Box 337, Tallulah Falls, GA 30573. Private family services will be held at a later date.
