Her favorite interest growing up was reading, a habit she continued and enjoyed over all other activities up until the end of her life. Delores began her work career after high school as a clerk in a downtown Kansas City office, but after marrying and moving to the suburbs she changed paths and became a “lunch lady” in the Raytown school district. She worked her way up to manager and was able to retire at a relatively young age.
Delores married Clifford J. Eastman who she felt was the love of her life. They celebrated many years of happiness making their home a haven and enjoying Delores’ excellent cooking.
Survivors include son Ron, daughter in law Suzanne and grandsons Bryce and Alex.
