Delores Maxine Miles, 88, died peacefully Monday, May 25, 2020, at the Rosewood Health Center, in Independence, Missouri. She was born Delores Maxine Bartlett on November 8, 1931, to Carl and Margaret Bartlett, in Springfield, Missouri.
Delores is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia Braile (Ed) and Rebecca Miles, both of Independence, Missouri, and a son, Charles Scott Miles of Easley South Carolina; four grandchildren, Matthew Braile (Jeri), Jason Braile (Christy), Erica Newman (Darin) and Ryan Miles (Laurie); twelve great-grandchildren, Anthony, Phillip, Brandon and Trenton Braile; Makayla, Noah and Peyton Braile; Colby, Morgan, Sidney and Sutton Newman; Payton Miles; and one great-great granddaughter, Harmony Miles; a sister, Jean Brodeur of Springfield and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Mack Miles, and daughter, Karen Lynn Miles.
Delores was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved her family and they were her life. She had a flair for decorating and a passion for holiday decorating. She was a long-time member of the former Rockwood Baptist Church in Independence, Missouri.
A family graveside service will be held Friday, June 5, 2:00 p.m. at Floral Hills Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, Missouri.
