Delores “Dee” Christopher Ritz, 65, of Leawood, KS passed away June 28, 2021 at KC Hospice House. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that contributions be made either to the American Cancer Society or to Kansas City Hospice House.
Dee was born in Warren, Ohio and grew up in northern Virginia. She lived in several different cities before moving to the Kansas City area in 2012. She was an avid book reader, active member of the Kansas City Young Matrons and enjoyed spending time at her vacation home in Hilton Head, SC. Dee was also a member of the Church of the Nativity, Leawood, KS. Her father, Anthony, preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Tony Ritz; her mother, Anna Christopher; two sisters, Diane Christopher and Barbara Gardiner and several nieces.
