Delores "Dee" Roberts-Underwood

Delores "Dee" Ann (Viebrock) Roberts-Underwood, age 81 of Lake Winnebago, Missouri and formerly of Stover, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on May 19, 2020.

Delores was born on February 28, 1939 in Stover, Missouri to Clarence Fred Viebrock and Helen (Monsees) Viebrock Heimsoth. Her dad was John L. Heimsoth.

She was confirmed in Christ Lutheran Church in Stover, Missouri. She graduated from Stover High School in 1957. She married George Underwood on July 7, 2007.

Dee worked for Woosley & Yarger Law Firm in Versailles, MO; Beatrice Foods in Kansas City, MO; Buck's Nursery & Florist in Kansas City, MO and Glamour Shots in Overland Park, KS. She was a Lady Shriner & Greeterette at Ararat Shrine, member of Camelot Dance Formation and Walters Dance Team.

Dee loved dancing with George, in formations and even a few times in competitions. She enjoyed tending to her flowers and could grow anything. Dee would do anything for her friends and family. Dee loved her pets and often took care of others’ animals. Dee was a very special sister and Aunt. When she married George she became a wonderful stepmother and enjoyed being a Grandma. She was an amazing friend and she will be greatly missed by many.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Claton Viebrock and Larry Wayne Viebrock.

She is survived by her husband George Underwood of the home; sister Marcele (Virgil) Harms of Stover, MO; niece Ashley (David) Martin of Raymore, MO; niece Shana (Melvin) Griblin of Stover, MO; great-nephew Reed (Rebecca) Harms of Stover, MO; great-nephew Triston (Kameryn Wilson) Harms of Stover, MO; Stephanie (Bret) Hill of Versailles, MO; great-great nieces & nephews Kaleigh, Kayliana, Daxtyn, Paisley, Baby H and Kale; daughter Krista (Mark) Elick of Larkspur, CO; son Scott (Farrah) Underwood of Cave Creek, AZ and grandchildren Ben, Anna, Willow and Aspen.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dee's name to Shrine Hospital Transportation, 5100 Ararat Drive, Kansas City, MO 64129.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 26 at 1:00pm at Stover Cemetery, 300 South Hickory in Stover, Missouri.

Dee was one of the most beautiful, kind, thoughtful and loving people I’ve ever known. Her loss leaves an emptiness in many hearts. All of her family and friends are in my prayers. Heaven has gained a very special angel.
