Diane Caldwell

Diane was born February 18th, 1947 in Sedalia, Missouri. She graduated from Raytown High School and Central Missouri State University. She worked as a real estate broker, and retired from the US Corps of Engineers. Diane also managed the family business for many years, always going up and beyond what was needed. She also helped in a soup kitchen for several years at Ridgeview Christian Church.

Diane married Jim Caldwell in 1982, and shared over 42 years of love, devotion, and great memories. She loved her place in South Florida, and was a huge fan of traveling. Diane had a great sense of humor which brought a lot of laughter to her family.

Diane was proceeded in death by her parents; Clarence and Nan Thomason.

She is survived by her husband Jim Caldwell, brother-in-law Tom (Alice) Caldwell, sister-in-law Nancy (Paul) Kenworthy, niece Tricia (Greg) DeCamp, nephew Jason (Brooke) Caldwell; along with numerous cousins and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the KC Hospice House and KC Pet Project.

A visitation for Diane will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133. A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133. A family graveside service will occur Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133.
