Diane and I felt like we'd known each other forever. Our friendship was so easy and natural and I am so blessed to have had her in my life. I know how much her family meant to her and she was so proud to be a mom and wife and grandmother.
I sat with her during her chemo sessions and we laughed and shared stories. She was strong and brave and ready to do battle. She would have been there for me as well. I am so proud of her, just wish I could have done more. The Pandemic made sharing our time together difficult.
I know she is safe now and will look over each of us.

Diane and I were great friends during her Junior year and my Senior year at Raytown High School. I was lucky to have known Diane and her parents. Had many lunches and dinners at her home. Diane had a great sense of humor ..... loved her laugh. My father passed when I was 14. Her dad took me under his wing and shaped my continuing education in engineering. I am so sorry to hear of Diane's passing. My prayers are with her family. Heaven has gained another Angel .

I had the pleasure of working with Diane at Raytown High School. I was often in the library, and each time I came in she greeted me with a big smile. Diane was always kind to students and treated them with respect. She frequently spoke to me of her family, especially her children and grandchildren of whom she was very proud; her love for them was evident. I am sorry for your loss.

Your mom was a delightful friend! We enjoyed many good times together when we gathered with your parents, the Laubs and Holimans for dinners, lunches, concerts, pool time, and drinks! Two of my favorite memories of time spent with her was our road trip to MN and WI and to the Royals game. She was a good hearted, friendly lady! Our condolences to you and your family. I will miss her!
