Dolores Catherine Eaton, 84, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014. Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 p.m. followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 23, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Private family graveside services will be held. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Peter’s United Church of Christ Food Pantry, 700 E. 110th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64131.
Mrs. Eaton was born in St. Louis, Mo. and lived in Kansas City, Missouri since 1965. Her husband, of over 60 years, William H. Eaton, preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Nancy C. Seward and her husband Larry, of St. Peters, Missouri; two sons, William M. Eaton and his wife Janet, of Blue Springs, Missouri and David M. Eaton, of Independence, Missouri; three grandchildren: Amy Fitch and her husband Shawn, Lisa Kennedy and her husband Ryan, Wm. Jason Eaton and his wife Jacqueline; and three great-grandchildren: Ava and Olivia Fitch and Zachary Kennedy.
