I had know Mr Church all my life and all the times he spent at the picnics at all the parks.   I know how much my parent's loved both Fran and Don and the encouragement they gave me when I buried my parent's.   I remember when my mother told me Karen had adopted a baby and I just smiled.   I know first hand how hard it is to lose a partner after so so many years, but Mrs.  Church take care of yourself and I'm so so sorry for your loss and to Steve, Mark and Karen. I know how your world changes and you change when you bury a parent especially such good ones as ours.

Don was a valued member of the Wednesday Morning Fellowship Of Christian Athletes Bible Study at the Village Presbyterian Church. His humor, poems and contributions to the class instructed and entertained us all. His experiences in life, in faith, in service, and in friendship displayed a living testimony to the grace of God. My admiration and respect for Don grew out of my years of knowing him and appreciating all that he accomplished. He was a good friend and a compassionate child of God. I shall miss him dearly.

We will miss Don in so many ways.
