Donald Matthew Hale, age 70 passed away peacefully at home September 21, 2017 in Kansas City, Mo. Born October 21, 1946, Matt was a lifelong Kansas Citian, graduating from Westport High School in 1965. He proudly served in the United States Navy and Naval reserves from 1966 to 1972. Matt joined his father in the family business as a landlord in midtown Kansas City, previously having worked in sales positions for Star Boat and Davis Distributing lawn mowers. He was a board member and past president of Landlords Inc.
He is survived by his loving wife Jackie Keirnan-Hale of Kansas City, daughter Katherine (Hale) Ford of Brooklyn, NY and his brothers Stacey Hale and David Hale of Kansas City. Celebration of life services will occur at a later date after cremation.
