
Donald Ray Hollaway, a loyal and honest man, passed away on January 22, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on August 2, 1947, in Joplin, Missouri, Donald was the beloved son of Raymond and Maxine Hollaway and the brother of Vernice Kemper.
In his early years, Donald served his country with distinction in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Following an honorable discharge, he embarked on a career as a millwright with KCI Industrial Construction.
On May 26, 1990, Donald married Jean, with whom he shared a loving life. Donald also had two sons, Donnie and David Hollaway. Donald was known for his dedication to his family and his home, always ensuring that his wife and loved ones were well cared for.
In his leisure time, Donald found joy in fishing and gardening. He took great pride in planting a variety of vegetables, flowers, and plants, which brought beauty and bounty to his surroundings.
Donald is preceded in passing by his parents. He is survived by his wife Jean Hollaway, his sister Vernice, his sons Donnie and David, and his six grandchildren.
