Donald L. Long, 89, Kansas City, KS, passed away February 28, 2016. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Mr. Long was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Ola (Price) Long, brothers Ray and Fred and sister Phyllis. He is survived by his children Diana Howell, Monte Long (Carla), Fred Long (Elaine), Randy Long (Marla), and Jerald Long (Susan); brother Tom Long (Cleta); 17 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
