I wish I could attend Don's life celebration, but I will be out of town. Connie, Bob, Lucy and family, you are in my prayers as you miss your husband, father and grandfather.  I'm so glad I got to visit with Don several times. I enjoyed his warmth, humor and friendliness.

Although we have always lived far apart I have fond memories of visits with Uncle Donald. As a young adult I remember Uncle Donald entertaining us by playing the harmonica and banjo! He was so talented. He had such a gentle and warm spirit which always came across whether in person or talking to him by phone. Mom certainly loved her "baby" bother as she so fondly referred to him. She loved each and every phone call from you and Donald. He always made her smile and brightened her day. Connie I am so thankful that you have been and always will be part of our family. What a blessing you were to Donald and to us all. I love you Aunt Connie. You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.  With my love, Susie
