She graduated from Central High School in June of 1954. She met Albert Harvel in 1951, and they were married August 22, 1954. They enjoyed family, home, entertaining and traveling. Donna took great pride and pleasure in watching her grandchildren grow and become successful, productive adults. Al and Donna were married for 62 years. Together they raised four children: Steve, Michael (wife Kathryn Swofford), Traci (husband Greg Lawton) and Sherri (husband Mark Weaks), nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Donna was “Past Queen of El Moat Temple #120” Overland Park, KS in 1985. She was also a member of Lambda Tau Delta Sorority, Kansas City branch, Alpha Upsilon chapter.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband in 2014.
