Doris Illene Cobb

Doris Cobb, age 95, of Belton, Missouri passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023. Doris was born in Kansas and moved to Missouri in as a teen. Doris spent her early adult years as a wife and mother on a farm in Pleasant Hill, MO. She moved to Belton in the early 1960s and began a career as an Administrative Assistant at a dental clinic at Richards Gebaur Air Force Base and then in the emergency room at the Veterans Hospital in KCMO. In her free time she was active in the Audubon Society, traveling all across the United States of America. She especially enjoyed birdwatching at Squaw Creek. She was preceded in death by her parents Claude and Mila Boyd. Her first husband David R. Turner. Her sons David B Turner, and Miles F. Turner. She is survived by her daughter Cathy Tibbetts; and her two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Carnegie Village for the loving care she received for over 5 years. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
