Doris Mae Harrel, 77, of Raymore, Missouri, went to be with her Lord on October 23, 2011 at Kansas City Hospice House. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 27, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Interment in Mt. Moriah Cemetery South. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, at the funeral home. Doris was born January 22, 1934 in Frederick, Oklahoma, daughter of John Henry and Foye Mae (Henderson) Woolery. She was a member of the Red Bridge Baptist Church. Her faith and family was everything. She was preceded in death by her son Dave Combest. She is survived by her husband Jim Harrel of the home; sister Melva Davis of Somerville, Texas; daughter Deb and husband Eric Berg of Kansas City, Missouri; four grandchildren Rachel, Laura, Scotty, and Kevin; stepdaughter Jamie Harrel of Raymore, Missouri; stepson Bryan and wife Terri Harrel of Raymore, Missouri; and two stepgrandchildren Connor and Chloe.
