Doris was born April 21, 1934 in a farmhouse near Columbus, Missouri to Ethridge and Ada McBurney.
Doris married Roland E. Tucker October 18, 1969.Together they had 2 sons. She is survived by her husband, her sons: Roland M. Tucker, Kansas City, Missouri, MSgt. Bruce and Andrea Tucker, Cabot, Arkansas, step-daughters: Penny and Tim Borel, Leawood, Kansas and Karen and George Murray, Leawood, Kansas. Grandchildren: Alexandra and Madison Tucker; Tucker, Timothy and Jack Borel; Toli and Mira Murray.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 5th from 9:00 to 10:00 am at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 10100 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, Kansas. Services immediately after visitation at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Odessa, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Powell Gardens, 1609 NW US Hwy 50, Kingsville, Missouri 64061 in Doris’ memory.
