Dorothy Ellen Herr, 90, loving mother, passed away peacefully and reunited with her loving husband, Howie, on November 23, 2014 in Liberty, Missouri. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 29, at Mount Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery South. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 6800 West 93rd Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66212.
Dorothy was born on December 1, 1923 in Spokane, Washington, daughter of George L. and Mary A. (MacKenzie) Thernes. She is survived by her loving family.
