Dorothy Faye Jandl

Dorothy Faye Jandl, 89, of Blue Springs, MO passed away January 27, 2014 at home surrounded by family. Funeral mass 11am on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 7009 Blue Ridge, Raytown, MO with visitation one hour prior. Burial following at Forrest Hill Calvary Cemetery, 6901 Troost, KCMO.

Dorothy was born March 5, 1924 to John X. & Faye O. Porter. She was a loving wife, mother & grandmother. She loved her 25 years as a Claims Supervisor at Federal Crop Insurance until her retirement in 1989. She was a devout member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church for 56 years and enjoyed making quilts for charity.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, George P. Jandl, Sr. She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Little; daughter, Kathleen Henrikson (Loye); son, George Rusty Jandl (Ann) & 6 grandchildren whom she loved dearly: Elizabeth Henrikson Miller (Tim), Kristin Henrikson, Kate Jandl Connolly (Will), Brooke Jandl Carillo (Dane), John Jandl & Libby Jandl.

Dorothy’s family would like to thank NorthCare Hospice for their care & compassion. Dorothy is loved and will be missed by her family.
